Staff Accountant

SUMMARY Handle all accounting administrative duties including financial statements, entry code maintenance, service accounting and other duties.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE Requires a BS degree in Accounting/Finance and two years related accounting experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
SKILLS & ABILITIES Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general information.
Ability to write business correspondence, memos and other material.
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, clients, customers and general public.
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
Must be a self-starter, who is able to work with little direction and supervision.
Ability to handle multiple tasks, time management, and be detailed orientated.
Must have extensive P.
C.
computer and 10-key experience.
Must have intermediate to advanced Excel skills CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS Must have a valid California driver's license and clean DMV report.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
